Trainers and Speakers

Lucinda McEntee is a Strategy Partner Manager at IDBS, with extensive experience working across software delivery, agile project management, and partner collaboration. With a background spanning strategy, product development, and quality leadership, Lucinda brings a strong focus on enabling effective partnerships and delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions. At QUEST, she outlines the IDBS and Quantrix leadership vision for the platform’s future direction.

Brian Cabana is Head of the Quantrix Engineering Team, brings more than 20 years’ experience in the development and delivery of the Quantrix platform. With deep product knowledge and many years working closely with Quantrix users, Brian provides practical insight into the inner workings of the Quantrix applications. At QUEST, he shares perspectives from within the Quantrix organization, with a focus on future platform capabilities.

Tahir Tahirov is an Authorized Quantrix Trainer and Consultant with over 17 years of international experience in petroleum and energy economics, financial modeling, software implementation, planning and analytics. At QUEST, he covers a range of practical topics, including advanced techniques, key functions, and Quantrix features – such as AI‑powered solutions used in real models. His sessions enable participants to learn from concrete, real‑world examples and apply proven approaches directly in their own modeling work.

Alex Zapalac, CPA is a Lead Solutions Consultant at Quantrix/IDBS with a Big 4 background & hands‑on experience in business and financial modeling. Alex works extensively with Quantrix to design practical, scalable models that support planning, forecasting, and informed decision‑making. At QUEST, Alex shares applied insights, lessons learned from real implementations, and highlights new features from recent Quantrix releases.

With an initial education in telecommunications and business, Frédéric Caussarieu has spent 30 years in management roles across the telecommunications and professional electronics industries before launching his own ventures. Today, he helps organizations turn performance management into actionable insights by making Quantrix practical and accessible. At QUEST, he will present some real customers use cases, highlighting the key Quantrix features used, and his best practices and approach when modeling with Quantrix.

Thomas Ahern is a Sales Manager at Quantrix with many years of experience working closely with customers across a wide range of industries. At QUEST, Thomas is present to connect with users and partners, engage in open dialogue, and listen to feedback and ideas that help shape the future of Quantrix.

QUEST takes place at Hotel Savoyen Vienna, a modern conference hotel in a central and easily accessible location. The hotel offers professional seminar rooms equipped for focused, in‑person training, as well as a spacious conference foyer used for coffee breaks and informal networking between sessions.
Participants can stay directly at the venue in comfortable, spacious guest rooms.
QUEST participants will receive special discounted room rates for the duration of the seminar. A dedicated booking link with the preferential rate will be shared after registration.
